    Norwich Sea Unicorns to celebrate Pi Day with tickets for $3.14

    Norwich ― The Norwich Sea Unicorns will once again offer a special ticket promotion on "Pi Day,“ March 14, in honor of the mathematical constant of 3.14, offering discount tickets to the summer collegiate baseball team’s season opening game on Memorial Day for $3.14.

    The box office at the Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14 for fans to purchase reserved seat tickets to the May 29 game for $3.14 each either in person at 14 Stott Ave., Norwich, by phone at 860-887-7962 or online at www.goseaunicorns.com.

    The May 29 game against the Vermont Lake Monsters will be played at 6:30 p.m. with fireworks following the game.

    The Pi Day sale is the first chance to purchase individual game tickets for opening night. Individual game tickets for all 32 home games will go on sale in April or early May.

    "The Pi Day promotion has been a fun way to celebrate baseball season being right around the corner and we are thrilled to once again offer this great pricing for our fans,” Sea Unicorns General Manager Lee Walter, Jr. said in a news release.
