    Farm plants 700,000 tulips in Preston

    Preston ― Wicked Tulips Farm in Preston planted 700,000 tulips and opened for the season on Wednesday. A large crowd gathered Thursday at the farm to pick tulips from a field filled with a large variety of tulips.

    People can go online to the Wicked Tulips Farm website to purchase tickets.

    Wicked Tulips Farm has three locations. The Exeter R.I. farm closes for the season Friday. The Preston farm will close in about two weeks depending on weather. The Johnston, R.I. location has not yet opened for the season.
