    New London to hold free public forum on city’s economic development

    New London ― City officials will take part in a free public forum next week to discuss new projects, housing options, arts, culture and more.

    The event will take place Wednesday, May 24, at the Garde Arts Center at 325 State St. from 5 to 7 p.m. Mayor Michael Passero and Felix Reyes, director the city’s office of development and planning will be among speakers.

    “Revitalizing older cities can be a challenge,” said a press release announcing the event. “Come see how New London is overcoming historic hardships to reclaim its stature as a dynamic economic center with new projects underway, ample new housing options, vibrant arts and culture, and much more.”
