    Groton ― People gathered in their kayaks and canoes Saturday for Float Swella, a pop-up paddlecraft-only event, on the Mystic River north of the bascule bridge. Bands and a DJ performed during the event.

    The event was presented by Mystic Seaport Museum, North Swell and Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce.
