Noank Fire Company to hold open house on Saturday

Groton ― The Noank Fire Company will hold an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Noank Fire House at 10 Ward Ave.

The event will feature fire safety exhibits and take-home material, as well as fire engines and rescue vehicles on display. Free hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks and desserts will be available. T-shirts will be available for purchase. A drawing for a raffle, made possible by donations from local businesses, will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Young children are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The event will be held rain or shine.
