Lyme, Preston election results to come

Results for the Preston and Lyme elections were not available late Tuesday and will be posted online Wednesday morning and in print in Thursday’s edition of The Day.

On a largely uncontested Lyme election ballot led by incumbent First Selectman David Lahm and Selectmen John Kiker and Kristina White, the only challenge comes from Democrat Gavin Lodge for the Board of Education seat held by two-term incumbent Republican Mary Powell-St. Louis.

In Preston, Democratic First Selectwoman Sandra Allyn-Gauthier, Democratic Selectman Jerry Grabarek and Republican Selectman Kenneth Zachem were re-elected unopposed. Contested races were held for Board of Education, Board of Finance and other commissions.
