Foxwoods voted No. 2 in Newsweek’s ‘Best Casino with Live Entertainment’ competition

Mashantucket ― Foxwoods Resort Casino finished second in Newsweek’s “Best Casino with Live Entertainment” Readers’ Choice awards competition.

As reported earlier, Mohegan Sun was voted No. 1.

Nominees for the awards were selected with input from a panel of experts, and Newsweek editors narrowed the list to a number of finalists. Readers then voted.

Rounding out the top 10 finishers were Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.; WinStar World Casino and Resort, Thackerville, Okla.; Choctaw Casino & Resort, Durant, Okla.; Thunder Valley Casino Resort, Lincoln, Calif.; Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain, Wheatland, Calif.; Live! Casino Hotel Maryland, Hanover, Md.; MGM Grand Detroit, Detroit, Mich.; and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hollywood, Fla.
