New London ― American Cruise Line’s American Glory passed New London Ledge Light as it traveled to City Pier on Wednesday night.

It is the first of eight stops in the city as part of the cruise line’s Yankee Seaports Cruise. The ship will be in New London until May 10. The eight-day cruise goes from Boston to New York.

In New London, passengers will have opportunities to explore downtown and visit the Lyman Allyn Art Museum, Thames River Water Taxi, Submarine Force/USS Nautilus Museum, and Mystic Seaport Museum.

The last time cruise ships visited New London was in April 2022 when two cruise ships, from the American Queen Voyages line, made stops.
