Cardinal Honda names new director

Edwin Figueroa, right, has been promoted to service department director of operations and quality control at the Cardinal Honda automotive dealership in Groton.

He is a National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence-certified master technician and has been employed at Cardinal Honda, located on Route 12, for the past 19 years as a platinum-level certified Honda technician.

Figueroa also has received specialized training and certification courses from American Honda at its training facility located in Windsor Locks.

Figueroa previously lived in Willimantic and attended Windham High School there. He now lives in New London.
