Will and Cindy Dobbs of Gales Ferry, and Stephen and Dalia Schulman of Mount Airy, Md., are proud to announce the engagement of Kristin Dobbs and Michael Schulman.

Kristin is a graduate of Ledyard High School, University of Vermont, and Howard University School of Law. She is an attorney working with the U.S. Department of Justice.

Michael is a graduate of Walter Johnson High School and Davis and Elkins College. He is in the finance industry.

Kristin and Michael are residents of Washington, D.C., where they will be married in October of 2014.
