Ashley Smart wed Steven Brown on April 13 at the El San Juan Hotel in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The bride is the daughter of Denise Smart of Madison and the late Douglas Smart. The groom is the son of George and MaryEllen Brown of Manhattan, New York.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother. Shayna Smart, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Christina McHugh, sister of the groom, of Riverdale, New York, and Mary Sullivan, sister-in-law of the groom, also of Riverdale, New York.

Kevin Brown, brother of the groom, served as best man. Attending the groom were Derek McHugh, brother-in-law of the groom, and the groom’s twin nephews, Jackson and Brady Brown, celebrating their second birthday.

Both the bride and groom are 2005 graduates of Marist College.

The bride works for The North Face in Manhattan, New York. The groom works on Wall Street for Citibank.

Following a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple resides in Riverdale, New York.
