Harold and Beverly (Getina) Millbauer of Mystic have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. “Hal” and “Bev” were married Oct. 10, 1970, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Fairfield.

After the birth of son David in 1971, the family moved to Mystic for Hal to work at the Monsanto Company plant then located in Stonington. Second son Daniel was born in 1973 followed by daughter Karin in 1976.

Bev and Hal are now retired and the extended family includes eight grand- and step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Due to Coronavirus pandemic precautions, their 50th anniversary celebration was a small, family-only gathering.
