David and Kathleen Blaney

David and Kathleen (Hartnett) Blaney of Mystic are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville, New York.

Early in their married life, Kathleen was President of Ware Associates, an IT consulting firm. David was in financial services. From 1985 until their retirement in 2012, David and Kathleen were the owner, operators of Sea Swirl Restaurant and Catering by the Sea.

They are the parents of two daughters; Kelly (Greg) Nolte of Waltham, Mass., and Maura (Travis) Paul of Mystic. They are the grandparents of three, Griffin, Henry and Lila Nolte.

The day and date of celebration is Saturday, April 17, 2021. Due to COVID, a family celebration will be held at a later date.
