Shirley and Norman Passarelli Sr.

Shirley and Norman Passarelli Sr. celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on August 5, 2021. They were married at Montauk Baptist Church in 1961. Both attended school in New London and became high school sweethearts.

They raised their three children, Norman Jr. (Kelli), Allison Rae both of Waterford, and Heather (Randy) Elmore of South Carolina to follow Psalm 86:11: “Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: Unite my heart to fear thy name.” Their eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren (two in heaven) are the apple of their eyes.

They enjoy worshiping and serving at Lakes Pond Baptist Church, a game of Scrabble, and the occasional Dairy Queen. As a gift to each other, Norm and Shirley have a trip to Vermont planned.
