    Basic Enlisted Submarine School names graduates

    Groton — Eighty-five sailors of “Class 13140,” USS Hartford (SSN-768), 77 sailors of “Class 13150,” USS Lewis and Clark (Blue) and 82 sailors of “Class 13155,” USS Lewis and Clark (Gold), graduated from Basic Enlisted Submarine School, Friday, March 8.

    For Class 13140, Seaman Apprentice Nathan Hoffman, the class honorman, was meritoriously advanced, Seaman Joshua Boga, the class leader, received the Heritage Award and Seaman Apprentice Brennan Gill received the Navy Core Values Award.

    Boga, Gill, Logistics Specialist Second Class Robert Perez, Seaman Apprentice Matthew Powell, Seaman Apprentice Edward Tyree, Fireman Trevor Simpson, Seaman Recruit Joshua Norman, Seaman Recruit Jonathan Moore, Seaman Fernando Lopez, Seaman John Tucker, Electronics Technician Third Class Zachary Ingle, Fireman Ethan Robertson, Seaman Apprentice  Colton Johnson, Fireman Robert Clougherty, Interior Communications First Class Clint Mosley and Seaman Recruit Philip Renaud were named graduates with distinction.

    For Class 13150, Fireman Josh Reeves was the class honorman, Fireman Recruit Biasius Duffy-Goodman, the class leader, received the Heritage Award, Fireman Recruit Devon Pratt received the Navy Core Values Award and Fireman Recruit Corey Petrie was meritoriously advanced.

    Seaman Apprentice Zachary Austin, Seaman Apprentice Brandon King, Seaman Apprentice William McCowan, Fireman Christopher Austell, Fireman Apprentice Jesus Fernandez, Machinist’s Mate Third Class Seth McLamb, Fireman Apprentice Emilio Guerra and Fireman Christopher Grant were named graduates with distinction included.

    For Class 13155, Seaman Apprentice Anthony Ruiz, the class honorman, was meritoriously advanced, Seaman Brian Freeman, the class leader, received both the Heritage and Navy Core Values Award.

    Freeman, Intelligence Specialist Second Class Lucas Center, Seaman Recruit Philip Stewart, Seaman Brian Dicks, Seaman Michael Pierce, Seaman Rudolph Jackson and Seaman Apprentice Alexander Holly were named graduates with distinction.
