Fitch Class of '63 invites public to honor veterans Nov. 8

Groton — The Robert E. Fitch Senior High School Class of 1963 invites the public to a ceremony to honor veterans at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8, in the high school’s auditorium.

The class will present a bronze plaque to the school to recognize all Fitch graduates who have given their lives for the country. The plaque is given in memory of Johnie Blount and Drew Fiedler, members of the class who died in Vietnam. Alumni from other classes who died in Vietnam will also be recognized and veterans of other eras plan to attend.
