U.S. Submarine Veterans Groton Base to hold annual Veterans Day memorial service

Groton — The United States Submarine Veterans, Inc. Groton Base will hold its annual Veterans Day Memorial Service at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 11, at the World War II National Submarine Memorial East.

Capt. MaryEtta Bishop Nolan, a cardiac surgical nurse, is the keynote speaker at the event, which takes place at the intersection of Bridge and Thames streets.
