Griswold graduate finishes Air Force basic training

Air Force Airman Magen N. Faxlanger, the daughter of John and Donna Faxlanger of Griswold, graduated from basic military training at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

As an airman she completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in Air Force core values, military discipline and basic warfare principles. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an Associate in Applied Science degree from the Community College of the Air Force.

Faxlanger is a 2013 graduate of Griswold High School.
