Christmas at Pemberly Manor

Elsewhere in Night & Day, you'll see Big News about screenings of a Lifetime holiday movie called "A Very Nutty Christmas" because it was made partly in Mystic and at the Garde Arts Center. Well, hell! What about another Lifetime Christmas film with local ties? "Christmas at Pemberly Manor," which is airing with regularity on the network, was shot partially in Essex and Old Lyme and boasts plenty of easily identifiable businesses and locations. You also won't believe the plot twists! Romance abounds in most unlikely scenarios! Unlike anything Lifetime's ever done! Peripheral character who looks like Santa and turns out to BE Santa! My hope is they continue this trend with, perhaps, a Yule film for next year featuring my own home. It'll be called "Santa: Down 'n' Out in New London."
