The United in Westerly holds ‘Barbie Malibu Mixer’

One of the summer movies with the most buzz is “Barbie,” and The United in Westerly is celebrating the film’s opening with a Barbie Malibu Mixer on Friday.

Attendees can get decked out in their Barbie and Ken finery, dance to “a playlist of Barbie’s favorite hits” (Got to include “Barbie Girl,”right?) and sip custom-themed cocktails. Can we hope it will be decorated like a Dreamhouse?

The “Barbie” film is a reimagining of the whole Barbie world, directed by Greta Gerwig from a script by her and Noah Baumbach. It stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
