Film series begins at The United in Westerly
The United’s Awards Film Series kicks off Sunday.
As part of the series, the Westerly venue will screen some of the most nominated and award-winning releases of 2023.
The schedule is:
Jan. 28: “Past Lives”
Jan. 30: “Maestro“
Feb. 1: “Oppenheimer”
Feb. 4: “American Fiction“
Feb. 5: “Boy and the Heron”
Feb. 6: “Poor Things“
Feb. 13: “The Zone of Interest”
Feb. 18: Oscar Shorts Animated
Feb. 19: Oscar Shorts Documentary
Feb. 22: “Killers of the Flower Moon”
Feb. 25: Oscar Shorts Live Action
Feb. 27: “Anatomy of Fall“
March 3: “The Holdovers”
March 7: “Barbie“
All movies are screened at 7 p.m. at The United at 5 Canal St. in Westerly. Individual tickets are $10 ($7 on Tuesdays) and available at www.unitedtheatre.org. An all-movie pass is $56 and can be purchased at unitedtheatre.org/shows/awards-season-film-series-pass/.
