Anne Castellano & the Smoke at 33 Club

Anne Castellano and her band, the Smoke

The Johnny Marr/Lemonheads melodicism of Anne Castellano & the Smoke will be on full display Friday when they perform in New London's 33 club.

The band released their first album, "Electric," earlier this year and will feature tunes therein as well as a choice arrangement of a cover by the Outlets' "The Provider" and a festive recitation of an original Castellano Christmas song. You might also hear other new tunes as the band hopes to get back in the studio soon to record the follow-up to "Electric."

Also on the bill are Monkey68 and On a Pirhana.
