Rivergods' holiday show

It will have been three days since Santa ate the cookie and gratefully drank the bottle of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale you left him next to the fireplace, whooshed back up the chimney, and rode out of sight.

But Yule Fun rocketh onward!

For example, local totemic roots act The Rivergods' annual Holiday Show takes place Saturday in New London's Bean & Leaf. Not only will the 'gods present band and seasonal favorites, but expect samples from "Never Grow Old," a new Rivergods EP that will be released in January.

Also performing will be Ebin-Rose, a hauntingly great duet associated with the band Amalgamated Muck.
