Poetry at the Hygienic

Whether your poetry is inspired by Rudyard Kipling or Maya Angelou, Hallmark cards or Dante's Divine Comedy, there's room for you at Hygienic Poets. Opening with short sets by local poets, this event blossoms into an open mic presentation and concludes with a slam competition that rewards with first, second and third prizes. Judges will be selected from the audience, and sign-up starts at 6 p.m. Space is limited. Admission is free.
