The Lyman Allyn Art Museum’s monthly coffee house program, “Listening Room,” will present a four-part jazz series featuring local musicians. Musical performances will highlight Lyman Allyn’s special exhibition, “Herman Leonard’s Jazz Memories,” on view through May 29. The series debuts Thursday with the John Clark & Ian Frenkel Duo at 5:30 p.m. in the museum’s Hendel Library. The duo will perform from the American Popular Songbook with an emphasis on music of the 1920s and ’30s

Other musicians in the series include the Old Lyme Inn Trio, Phred & Friends Jazz Quartet and Almost Blue.
