Look! Santa brought you a Meadows Brothers Band show for Christmas! They're playing Friday in Norwich at the Strange Brew Pub.

Yes, Ian and Dustin Meadows have that DNA thing going on that sort of makes it not fair when you hear those harmonies and spangled roots songs and you don't have a brother or sister to sing with. Or, if you do, he or she is that rare exception that sings like a wheezing gnu.

Anyway, what's even more fun is when the Meadows Brothers flesh out the sound with a full band. It's like an arm wrestling contest if the three arms involved were named Country, Folk and Blues and the judge was a dude called Rock 'n' Roll.
