Waterford - The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center has extended its deadline for applications for its 2023 Cabaret Junior Fellows to the end of Feb. 27.

The program is for student vocalists ages 15 to 18.

The Junior Fellows program is a part of the O’Neill’s annual Cabaret & Performance Conference, which brings leading cabaret artists to perform at the organization’s seaside campus and provides development opportunities for up-and-coming artists.

Applicants will be asked to prepare a video audition consisting of two contrasting songs from a provided list (available on the O’Neill website). Songs should be performed with karaoke accompaniment tracks, and performances should demonstrate vocal range and prowess and correct stylings.

Tuition for the program is $1,000, which includes all meals. There are need-based scholarships. On-campus housing is available on request.
