Springsteen postpones shows, including one at Mohegan Sun
Bruce Springsteen announced late Wednesday that he and the E Street Band are postponing all scheduled performances in September, and that includes the Sept. 16 concert at Mohegan Sun.
According a statement from the tour, Springsteen “is being treated for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease and the decision of his medical advisors is that he should postpone the remainder of his September shows.”
No information is available yet on when the new dates might be.
The Sept. 16 gig at the Sun was itself a rescheduling of a March 12 show that was postponed due to illness. Tickets for the Sept. 16 show had been selling for more than $500 before the announcement.
