Postmodern Jukebox has been described as “pop music in a time machine,” and that pretty much covers it. There are multiple groups of singers and instrumentalists under the PMJ banner that tour the world, performing throwback version of modern tunes. “My Heart Will Go On,” for instance, gets the doo-wop treatment. “Creep” becomes a torch song.

Who knows what musical transformations await when PMJ gives a concert Sunday at Foxwoods?

Postmodern Jukebox, 7 p.m. Sunday, Great Cedar Showroom, Foxwoods; tickets start at $49; foxwoods.com.
