NAC hosts Liviu Pop & Friends

Norwich Arts Center’s Blues on Broadway returns with a Jan. 10 concert by Liviu Pop & Friends.

Liviu Pop is the drummer for the Bruce Katz Band and is a Connecticut Blues Hall of Fame inductee. He has recorded with such artists as Hubert Sumlin, Popa Chubby, and Matt Schofield.

Joining him at NAC will be guitarist Dave Fields and bassist Lenny Bradford.

Fields’ rock-infused blues also weaves jazz and funk into the mix. His extensive body of work has included Broadway, film, TV and radio.

Bradford is the longtime bassist for the Joe Louise Walker Band, and he currently plays bass for the Willie J. Laws Band.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors, members of the military, and students, and $20 for NAC members. Visit norwicharts.org.
