    Mohegan Sun welcomes Forever Motown

A Forever Motown concert Friday at Mohegan Sun features three singers who became part of legendary groups, albeit after their heyday.

Theo Peoples is the only man to be a member of both the Temptations and the Four Tops. He was chosen to join the Temps in 1992, and he stayed with them for six years. In 1998, he moved on to the Tops.

Glenn Carl Leonard also joined the Temptations, but he did it in 1975. He was the first tenor and lead singer until 1983, performing on 10 of their albums. After his Temptations run, he entered into full-time ministry; he founded and pastors a church in Houston, Texas. He’s back doing some concerts as well.

Traci Robinson-Greene, who became the lead singer of the Marvelettes in 1991, is a triple threat who dances, sings and acts. She trained at the Alvin Ailey Dance Center and Dance Theatre of Harlem, and she performed in such shows as “Sophisticated Ladies.”

Forever Motown, 8 p.m. Friday, Mohegan Sun Arena; tickets start at $31; mohegansun.com.
