Berlin brings their music to Foxwoods Friday
For the 2022 “Top Gun” sequel, producers wanted a power ballad in the same vein as the original movie’s use of the iconic song “Take My Breath Away” by Berlin.
Well, Lady Gaga served up “Hold My Hand,” complete with a video that paid tribute to the diaphanous-fabric-in-a-desert-wind of Berlin’s video. But did “Hold My Hand” top “Take My Breath Away”? Doubtful. Then again, who could compare with the sweeping, bombastic romanticism of that tune?
Berlin bring that signature song plus its other hits, led by “No More Words,” to Foxwoods when they perform there on Friday.
