New York (AP) - Tiger Woods' return to golf and an NCAA men's basketball championship helped put CBS in the Nielsen winner's circle last week.

The Nielsen Co. said Tuesday that the Masters averaged 13.8 million viewers over the weekend, as Phil Mickelson's third championship eventually overshadowed Woods' first time back on the course since being sidelined by a sex scandal.

CBS' airing of the basketball championship between Duke and Butler drew just less than 24 million viewers.

Overall for the week, CBS averaged 11.6 million viewers, with Fox ranked second, and ABC and NBC trailing.
