Network issue disables Dilbert, puzzles

Online puzzles and the Dilbert comic strip are expected to return to theday.com by Wednesday.

Dilbert and the puzzles have been unavailable on theday.com since Sunday due to network problems at the company that provides the content to theday.com.

Andrews McMeel Syndication said in an email Tuesday morning that the company has been “experiencing network issues which have taken our servers and communication channels offline."

The outage affects all of its customers.

In addition to Dilbert, McMeel provides theday.com with the crossword, sudoku, and jigsaw puzzles.

Comment threads are monitored for 48 hours after publication and then closed.
