    Jane Campbell Blimm, 90 Formerly of Buffalo, New York, and Madison

    Jane Campbell Blimm, 90, formerly of Buffalo, New York, died in Delray Beach, Florida, on

    Sept. 17. She was the wife of the late Arthur I. Blimm, who predeceased her in 2007. She was born in Lockport, New York, on April 5, 1919, daughter of Mary Garner and William Whitmore Campbell. She was educated in Lockport schools and was a music major at Vassar College. She and her family were long-time Madison summer residents. Her mother donated the organ at St. Margaret Church in Madison and Mrs. Blimm was organist there as a young woman.

    She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Burns Richardson and her husband Gordon of Hartland, Vermont; a son, Theodore J. Burns of Buffalo, New York, and his wife Susan of Snyder, New York; two grandsons, Brendan C. Burns of Snyder, New York, and Matthew B. Burns of Cheektowaga, New York; and a step-daughter, Elizabeth B. Hall of North Tonawanda, New York. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Campbell Pfister of White Plains, New York, and Madison; a cousin, William Littell of Madison; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, scattered between Ottawa and Houston. She was predeceased by her brother William W. Campbell, Jr., and his wife Roberta Chace Campbell, formerly of Lockport, New York, and Madison, who died in a common accident in 1954, and by her son Lawrence T. F. Burns, then of Los Angeles, California, in 1986.

    A memorial service to commemorate her life will be scheduled at Abbey Delray South in October. Burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery in

    Lockport, New York.
