Giro Esposito, 63, of Cindy Lane, North Haven, died Jan. 18 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Pauline DeFelice Esposito. He was born in New Haven on June 18, 1946, son of John Esposito of North Haven and the late Eva Lucibello Esposito. He had worked as a hair stylist all of his life and had served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War.

Besides his wife and father, he is survived by four siblings, Elizabeth Grollino and her husband Joseph of St. Petersburg, Florida, Anthony Esposito and his wife Annette of North Haven, Ava Sorensen and her husband James Schroeder, also of North Haven, and John Esposito, Jr., and his wife Kristina of Milbridge, Maine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral procession was held from the North Haven Funeral Home on Jan. 22, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Michael's Church, New Haven. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
