Robert J. Barcsansky, Sr., 69, of North Haven, died Feb. 5 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. He was the husband of Barbara Napolitano Barcsansky. He was born in New Haven on June 8, 1940, son of the late Stephen and Martha Kubicza Barcsansky. He had worked for New Haven Trap Rock Machine Products Division and later was the owner and operator of Barlow Manufacturing. He had served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He was also a member of the Pine Grove Men's Association and he was an avid UConn Huskies fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Robert Barcsansky, Jr., and his wife Laura of North Haven and David Barcsansky and his wife Nicole, also of North Haven. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Danny, Angelica (Pumpkin), Amanda, and Caitlyn; a brother, Joseph Barcsansky of Hamden; his sister Vera Charron and her husband Thomas, also of Hamden; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Stephen Barcsansky.

A funeral procession was held from the North Haven Funeral Home on Feb. 9, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Barnabas Church. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery.
