Robert Lynn Coffey, 65, of Branford, died on May 9 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He was the husband of Anne Coffey. Bob was born in Syracuse, New York, on June 14, 1946, son of Robert and Rosemary Coffey. Bob dedicated his life to law enforcement, serving the New Haven Police Department and the Connecticut State Judiciary. He was devoted to his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Brendan and Peter; his daughters-in-law, Mojgan and Sara; and his grandson, Nolan Robert.

In lieu of flowers, Bob's family requests that donations be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Attn: GIST Research, Dr. Demetri, 10 Brookline Place, West Brookline, MA 02445.
