Sarah Roby Stevenson Ventres, 83, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Guilford, formerly of Hopkins and St. Paul, Minnesota, died on June 10. “Sally” was born on Jan. 1, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Roycemore Academy and Northampton School for Girls. She attended Ohio Wesleyan University and received degrees from Northwestern University (BS 1951) and the University of St. Thomas (MBA 1982). Moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1992, her volunteerism focused on international relations and community advocacy through the Old Santa Fe Association, the Santa Fe Council on International Relations, Global Volunteers, and the International Folk Art Market.

She is survived by her daughter Katherine Ventres Canipelli of Guilford, her son William Brainerd Ventres, MD/MA of San Salvador, El Salvador, her grandchildren Roby Ventres-Pake and Cory Ventres-Pake, and her brother Richard Corwine Stevenson of Sandhurst, Kent, England.
