    Anna M. Adinolfi, 95, North Haven

    Anna Marian Scaramella Adinolfi, 95, of 99 North Hill Rd., North Haven, died peacefully at the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven, on July 29, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Adinolfi. Mrs. Adinolfi was born in New Haven on Oct. 28, 1916, daughter of the late Vincent and Philomena Mansi Scaramella. She had resided in North Haven for the past 68 years.

    Mrs. Adinolfi graduated in 1939 from Albertus Magnus College of New Haven with a bachelor's degree in Romance languages. She was also a member of the Ladies' Guild and Prayer Shawl Group of St. Therese Church.

    Mrs. Adinolfi's family expresses their sincerest gratitude to Marieme Diakhate for the loving care given to Anna over the past two years.

    Mrs. Adinolfi is survived by a daughter, Maria Brooks and her husband Keith of Haines, Arkansas; three sons, Michael Adinolfi and his wife Mary Ann of North Haven, Vincent Adinolfi and his wife Charlotte Parniawski of Shelton, and Joseph Adinolfi and his wife Marcia of California, Maryland; two sisters, Mary Scaramella of Wallingford and Josephine Zurolo and her husband Anthony of North Haven; and a brother, Michael Scaramella of New Haven. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Michele Adinolfi Lucibello, Michael Adinolfi and his wife Christine, Marissa and Taryn Adinolfi, Ana Adinolfi and her fiancée Beth Myers, Jim Adinolfi, Jason Adinolfi and his fiancée Amanda Feldman, Kathryn Adinolfi, David Brooks and his wife Olivia, and Anna Brooks, as well as three great grandchildren, Anthony, Isabella, and Adrianna Lucibello. She was predeceased by two sisters, Theresa and Julia Scaramella, and three brothers, Gaetano "Tommy" Scaramella, and Louis and Anthony Scaramella.

    Her funeral procession will leave the Torello-Iacobucci Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven on Thursday, Aug. 2, at 10:15 a.m., for a mass of Christian burial, which will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
