Lena Landino LaBonia, 90, of 22 Masonic Ave., Wallingford, died peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 16, at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Anthony G. LaBonia. Mrs. LaBonia was born in New Haven on Feb. 1, 1922, daughter of the late Nicolo and Graziella Landino. She had worked as a head bank teller for the former Union Trust Bank. Mrs. LaBonia was also a member of the Hamden Lanes Women's Bowling Team, and she enjoyed crocheting, crossword, and juggle puzzles.www.northhavenfuneral.com

She is survived by three children, Leonard LaBonia and his wife Susan of Northford, Robert LaBonia and his wife Diane of Cheshire, and Joyce Sullivan and her husband Steven, also of Cheshire. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Leonard LaBonia and his wife Tanya, Christopher LaBonia and his wife Katie, Matthew and Amy LaBonia, and Juliet and Jenna Sullivan, as well as three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Natalie, and Robert LaBonia. She was predeceased by her daughter, Joan LaBonia; two brothers, Michael and Joseph Landino; and a sister, Mary Miller.

Her funeral procession left the North Haven Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 20, for a mass of Christian burial at St. Frances Cabrini Church, North Haven, at 10 a.m. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery.
