Joseph Gordon Dorr, 93, of Deep River, died on Aug. 21. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred (Wollock) Dorr. He was also the son of the late Joseph Charles and Bertha (Riele) Dorr. www.swanfuneralhomeoldsaybrook.com for memorial tributes.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, Wanda McGovern and her husband Roger of Hanson, Massachusetts; his granddaughter, Sara McGovern Albano and her husband Bryan; and one great-grandson, Jack.
His family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Swan Funeral Home 1214 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook, followed by a graveside funeral service with military honors in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chester.
