Kim Francis “Botts” Wrzosek, 56, of Brooksville, Florida, formerly of North Haven, died Sept. 23 at his home.  Kim was born in New Haven on April 11, 1956, son of the late Robert E. and Evelyne Funaro Wrzosek.  A 1974 North Haven High School graduate, Kim worked in the insurance industry in Florida for many years. He was also an avid golfer and a Boston Red Sox fan. 

He is survived by his brother, James Wrzosek and his wife Carolyn of Hamden; his niece, Dena Farber of Hamden; and many loving cousins and friends in Connecticut and Florida.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Ave., Hamden. There are no visiting hours. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jack Viele Scholarship, c/o Eli Whitney Museum, 915 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT  06517, or to a charity of one’s choice.  The North Haven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.northhavenfuneral.com
