Joseph P. Verrillo, 29, of North Haven, died on Nov. 3 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident earlier that morning.  He was the fiancé of Maria Buontempo of Hamden, who was the love of his life. Joseph was born in New Haven on April 16, 1983, beloved son of Joseph Verrillo, Jr. and Denise Jacques Verrillo of North Haven.  Joseph had been an Air Frame mechanic for Sikorsky Aircraft for the past five years. He also enjoyed fishing and was a devoted New York Giants fan. 

Besides his finacee and his parents, he is survived by his beloved son, Joseph Anthony “Chubs” Verrillo.  He is also survived by his loving sister, Renee Savo and her husband Nate of Branford; his beloved grandparents, Joseph and Pauline Verrillo, Sr. of North Haven, and Norma Jacques of Hamden; his Uncle Paul and Aunt Joan Verrillo of Cheshire; his nephew Anthony Verrillo; and his niece Gianna Savo. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Paul Jacques

Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven, on Friday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m., for a mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery.
