Mary Wasylyk Kenniston, 85, of North Haven, died on Nov. 10 at the Regency House in Wallingford. She was the loving wife of 57 years to the late Robert E. Kenniston, Sr. Mary was born in New Haven on March 8, 1927, daughter of the late Paul and Anna Ostaficzuk Wasylyk. She was a past member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Grand Lodge of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainman.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and William MacCallum of North Haven; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Kenniston of North Haven; three grandchildren, Kristen Kenniston, Melissa Silva and her husband Edward, and Cheryl Clark and her husband Mark; and four great-grandchildren, Joseph Alfano, Autumn and Allison Clark, and Madison Silva. She was predeceased by her son, Robert E. Kenniston, Jr., and two siblings, Helen and Michael Wasylyk.

Her funeral procession left the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, on Nov. 12, for a mass of Christian burial at St. Barnabas Church.
