Jennie W. Sulinski, 88, a life long resident of Deep River, died on Nov. 23 at the Aaron Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chester. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Sulinski. Jennie was born in Deep River on May 3, 1924, daughter of John J. and Katherine (Skorka) Waz. She was a communicant at Saint Joseph Church in Chester and was retired from Whelen Engineering. Jennie deeply loved her entire family and was always willingly there for them with anything they might need.

She is survived by her son Richard L. Sulinski of Hamden; her daughter Sandra S. Forest and her husband James of Westbrook; her granddaughter Devon Forest and grandson Matthew Forest, both of Westbrook; and her sisters, Julia Mislick and Clara Nelson, both of Deep River. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Denis J. Sulinski and her daughter Nancy K. Sulinski, as well as four brothers, Frank, Walter, Victor, and John Waz.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 26, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 noon at Saint Joseph’s Church, 48 Middlesex Ave., Chester, followed by burial in the parish cemetery.
