Barbara L. Joslyn, 78, of Candle Reef Condominiums, Christiansted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, formerly of Guilford, died peacefully in Miami, Florida, on May 1.  She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Joslyn.  Barbara was born in Duluth, Minnesota, on Oct. 12, 1934, daughter of the late William and Violet Lind Hedeen.

She is survived by her beloved children, Richard A. Joslyn III and his wife Nancy of Norwalk and Christian W. Joslyn and his wife Sheri of East Haddam. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Richard Philip, Kevin, Jeffrey, Julia, and Meigan.  She was predeceased by her son Philip Davidson Joslyn.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, at 10 a.m., at the First Congregational Church, 122 Broad St., Guilford, followed by burial in Alder Brook Cemetery, Boston St., Guilford.
