Mary F. Pagliuca, 96, of New Haven, wife of the late Salvatore Pagliuca, died on June 7. Born April 30, 1917 in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine (DeChello) Vellaccio. Mary was employed by Gengras Insurance Company and Loomis and Nettleton Company as a policy coder. She was also a member of Jolly Timers and East Haven Senior Center.

Mary was a wonderful, gracious lady who was loved by all. She was everyone’s “Aunt Mary.”

Mary is survived by her loving daughter Roberta Longo and her husband Michael of Guilford, her grandson Christopher Diana and his wife Keri of Milford, and her great-grandchildren Nicole, Skylar, Logan, and Kaelyn. Mary is also survived by her siblings Theresa Santomasso, Elvira DeLucia and her husband Joseph, Josephine Savo and her husband Dominic, Annette Cirillo and her husband Vincent, and Dominic Vellaccio and his wife Joyce, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Frank Vellaccio and her sister Anna Rienzo.

Her funeral procession left the Clancy Funeral Home, East Haven, on June 11 for a Mass of Christian burial in St. Bernadette Church, followed by committal at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
