Sonya (Kruchok) Geyer, 82, of Killingworth, wife of the late Fred Steven Geyer, died July 25 in Middlesex Hospital, Middletown. Sonya was born July 11, 1931 in New Haven to the late Roman and Christine (Model) Kruchok.

She is survived by her two loving daughters Christine Geyer of Killingworth and Susan Geyer of Wallingford; her son, David Gionfriddo of Florida; many loving nieces and nephews, and her extended Kruchok and Geyer families. She was predeceased by her sisters Olga, Mary and Helen; and her brothers Alexander, James and John.

Funeral services were held July 29 at the Guilford Funeral Home, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Killingworth.
