Francesco “Frank” Pascarella, 81, of Branford, beloved husband of Rosaria Pascarella, died Aug. 20 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Pascarella was born Nov. 22, 1931 in Cervino, Caserta, Italy, to the late Alphonso and Filomena Pascarella.

He was a retired factory worker who was employed in many area factories, including Durable Wire Co.

He was a communicant of St. Mary Church, Branford. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving daughters Anna Maria Cudgma of Branford, Filomena Cesareo and her husband Francesco of Worcester, Massachusetts, and Rosa Maria Polenzani and her husband Matthew of Pelham, New York; his grandchildren Rebecca and Andrew Cudgma, Marianna, Gianfranco and Massimo Cesareo, and Gianluca, Nicola and Giovanni Polenzani; his great-grandson Zachary Cudgma; his sisters Rosa Iaderosa of Branford and Giuseppina Nuzzo of Italy; and his brother Dominico Pascarella of Italy. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Alessandra Polenzani.

His funeral will leave the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, Saturday, Aug. 24 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
